Hi, everyone!

Stopping in to let you all know I haven't forgot about the blog, just been super, super busy with finishing up this semester with finals, presentations, speeches...stress,stress and more stress. Don't worry--I will be back at the end of the week when things die down!

In the mean time, I wanted to send my best wishes (and my family's) to Chassity over at the amazing; Look Linger Love who just had her second baby (a little boy!) on Saturday. I look up to Chassity and her blog soooo much and crazy enough, she is married to my moms cousin! (yay, family!)

Talk to you all soon!

Oh, Black Friday...

happy craziest shopping day of the year, everyone!

Did anyone get any great deals already they would like to share!?

My mom and I have never gone out at midnight mainly because I have worked retail for the past 3 years, so I was always working those ungodly hours...so I must say, being the shopper was a lot more fun!

We ventured to WalMart at 10PM last night when their deals started, needless to say, it's a huge super-center and the parking lot was packed to the max, plus some...we had to park across the street in a bank parking lot. Once we got in...this was the sight:

Yeah--pretty insane!

We actually started questioning why we "needed" to be there but we decided to kill time before midnight. We ended up with a few great buys. Hello Kitty fleece sleep pants for me--5 bucks! I got a few movies for $2, a Tim McGraw Greatest Hits CD (whom happens to melt my heart!) for $7, as well as the Scotty McCreery CD! My mom scored a memory foam bath mat and we also picked up some little kid jammies for family friends:)

But, hhgregg was where we really wanted to score, my mom wanted a washer/dryer set that was a steal but they only had 8 of them and they handed out the last coupon literally ten people in front of us--UGH! So, right next door was our other stop, Kohls...

I just "adopted" a king size mattress so I needed everything to complete it and Kohls had great deals on down comforters, mattress pads, sheets, everything! So we ended up with all of that, Vera Wang tights, trouser socks, a scarf and a top all for $150 (we saved $520!) Isn't that just GREAT!? One of the down comforters itself was originally $220...I cannot believe it still!
So--I am hoping our luck continues into today, too! I want to head to Target, Old Navy and maybe the mall!

Happy Shopping!!!

Fashion 4 Less

Everyone seems to be on a budge these days--especially the college kids! With so many retailers waving their holiday ads in our faces it is simple to find a great outfit for less than $100! Today I am going to share how to get the perfect holiday party look for the college girl on a budget!

The Dress: One of the biggest trends I researched while I was interning this summer was the glam party looks for the holidays. Check out this cocktail dress from Forever 21:
Only $23! How adorable is this stripe!?

These nude pumps are perfect for any time of the year but with the above dress--major! Plus, every girl needs a pair of nude pumps..right? These are from Target:
Just $30!

The perfect pair of tights are hard to find now-a-days, at least in my opinion. The best pair I have bought are from the Simply Vera Vera Wang for Kohls line. They never run or snag! I LOVE them.
On sale right now for $9! Cannot beat that.

This bracelet is adorable in person--I saw it at Forever21 last weekend and now I am really wishing i picked it up! Its adds the perfect sparkle to the dress:

It is only $11, too!

Once again, Forever21--this clutch is perfect for a party it has just the right amount of space to hold everything you need and the tan color is flattering with any outfit!
$17 and fully lined!

Lastly, to polish off the look (literally) I recommend a great nail color! Essie has such great shades! Here is my pick to finish off this look:

"Little Brown Dress" $8 at Target!

Grand Total of outfit: $98!

See, it just takes a little hunting...but you can find a great holiday party outfit for just under $100!

Happy Friday:)

Versace for...

H&M!

On November 19th, select H&M stores will be launching their "The Very Best of Versace" collection. (Click HERE to check it out on H&M's site!)  I have been drooling over the pieces--they are completely genius. And for Versace--very reasonably priced! The line will include Ladies, Men and Home. Last night was the actual debut runway show and was full of starlets! Prince and Nikki Mi performed for the glittery crowd after the show. Of course, none of my local Pittsburgh H&M's will be carrying the collection...too bad I can't jetset to NYC for a mini shopping excursion on the 19th, hmm...

Here is a preview of a few of the looks:

This look is my personal fav!

Psst..if you click HERE you can view an entire lookbook via Fashionologie!

So, let me know what you think of it all :)

I hope you all had a nice weekend, I wasn't able to post because I had such a fun-filled weekend! My neighbor Amy, my dad and I managed to pull of a surprise 50th birthday party for my mom on Friday! Most of our whole family was there! Her brother(from AZ) and sister (from TN), my cousins, grandparents, family friends...everyone we love in one place So it was a refreshing weekend spent with everyone :)

My Favs...

From this week!

On Tuesday, when I got my daily White Mocha before class I was thrilled to be handed a red holiday cup! How exciting--it really puts me in the spirit of the holidays!

OPI's "I Break for Manicures"
My nail salon finally got the Touring America Collection and I LOVE all of them--couldn't decide so I went with this one first and love it. Depending on the light it can look brown, purple or black! And to top it off, I got a ring finger sparkle :)

It's a big weekend here in Pittsburgh considering the Steelers are playing the Baltimore Ravens. Check out Victoria's Secret's cute NFL line! They have the cutest Steeler stuff and I am really crushing on a few things--christmas ideas ;)

Oh, and we get an extra hour of sleep starting Monday, YAY!

Once again, I am sorry for the lack of posts again this week, I feel like all I've been doing is taking tests and getting stressed out!

Happy Friday :)
